Already for the fourth time The School of Christian Life and Evangelism took place in our church Johannes de Doperkerk. This time we were very glad to hear inspiring talks held by Pádraig and Ian, who came the whole way from Ireland to Wageningen. Thank you guys for your presence!

We were also very happy to welcome many people from our parish but also new friends from Utrecht and Amsterdam.

Topics were about sin and salvation. We have heard good news, that even when we sinned, God is waiting for us with open arms. Sin keeps us away from God and his Love. God wants to give us salvation and bring us closer to him. Furthermore, we have learnt how to have a health attitude towards money. Money is blessing from God and we can use it for good purposes. However, we have to be careful, that money does not become a new god.

According to our tradition, we enjoyed lunch and dinner together. It gave us opportunity to talk and to know each other better. Since we were many people of different age (starting from 2 years old!) we felt like a big family!

During the weekend we could forget our worries and focus on good site of life, on life with God. This session was a great time of prayers, worshiping God in songs, open discussions, hope, understanding.

We thank God for this beautiful time and we are looking forward to taking part in coming spring session in our church!
